Dr. Lewis graduated from Ohio State University and has practiced veterinary medicine there, throughout the Midwest, New York, North Carolina, and now has settled into beautiful South Carolina. She started with our hospital in mid-2023 and has been a wonderful addition to the team. She has established a strong bond with her pet patients and their families. She is a pescatarian with 2 pets of her own; a cat named Hercules, and a dog named Callum. She loves cat decor & chocolate, and in her spare time she enjoys traveling with her husband and spending time with her fur babies.
Meet Our Staff
Rachel S.
Veterinary Technician
Rachel was born and raised in Charleston, SC. She started as a kennel technician at a local daycare and did volunteer work at a local equine rescue, which both fueled her passion for animals and pushed her to start working as a veterinary technician in 2018. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her 6 dogs, friends & family, line dancing, watching college football (Go Tigers), boating, hiking, and really anything to get her outdoors.
Kelsey G.
Veterinary Assistant
Kelsey, who is Cat Friendly Certified, started with our team in mid-2023, and has been labeled our hospital’s ‘Cat Whisperer.’ She has had animals her whole life and has cared for them for years. She decided to follow her calling for wildlife care and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Wildlife Biology. She started working in veterinary medicine to learn more about animals and has the goal of continuing to learn and, hopefully, one day, traveling around the world to do sanctuary conservation work and open her own one day.
Lindsey H.
Client Service Representative

Her experience in the veterinary medical field has equipped her with the skills and knowledge necessary to handle a variety of situations with grace and efficiency. At home, her love for animals continues as she cares for her beloved pets, creating a nurturing environment where they thrive. Lindsey’s positive attitude and willingness to lend a hand make her an invaluable member of our team, bringing warmth and cohesion to our workplace. Her commitment to supporting her colleagues and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere is truly inspiring, making her a cherished part of our community.
